INGOTS
The introduction ofe the innovative process in continuos casting
permits to get a product definitely better than the traditional
brass ingot, with qualities that assure a very high satisfaction
of the Customer, and generally of the sectors which it is mainly
adressed to: sanitary and industrial taps, valves, fittings,
handles, artistic anf mechanical processing.
Continuous casting brass ingots are charaterized by constant
size and weight which make easy the charging of meltimg furnaces
and in consequence a better temperature control of liquid metal.
The smooth and compact condition of ingots surface helps no
slags and dross presence for recuction of melt loss, while the
homogeneous and constant structure allows uniformity of shrinkage
during the solidification phase oh the casting in the mould.
The standarized and regular shape of ingots permits space saving
and better security in stocking.
CONTINUOS CASTING BRASS INGOTS FOR COMMON AND SPECIAL ALLOYS,
SILICON AND MANGANESE ALLOYS, ARE PRODUCED ACCORDING TO THE
SMC STANDARDS, AND ALL THE INTERNATIONAL SPECIFICATIONS,
AMONG WITH ASTM - BS - DIN- JIS - NFA - SAE - UNI,
OR ON PERSONAL DEMAND OF THE CUSTOMER WITH PERSONALIZED CHEMICAL
